Final Report: Commercial Fleet Management Project

NOVA Group, Ltd. has produced Dispatch Tools, a program to help dispatchers organize and route time-sensitive delivery orders. It uses a library of advanced routing and decision-making algorithms. The change in productivity of the drivers, measured in number of deliveries per driver-hour, averaged 24 percent after implementation of the software. An observable decrease in stress on the dispatchers and improved communications between dispatchers and office personnel was also reported.
