A Separation Strategy for Connected and Automated Vehicles: Utilizing Traffic Light Information for Reducing Idling at Red Lights and Improving Fuel Economy

This simulation study used a velocity control and separation strategy algorithm to improve traffic efficiency and reduce fuel consumption at a signalized intersection.
