Evaluating the Safety Impacts of Flashing Yellow Permissive Left-Turn Indications in Massachusetts
The flashing yellow arrow (FYA) was introduced in the 2009 edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) as a recommended permissive left-turn indication.
